Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Being Strong When You Think You Can’t

There came a point when I wanted take a break from doing my blogs.
But then I started to feel bad. For a girl who talks about if there’s God, there’s light, I sure wasn’t shining no light for others to follow. So just know as you continue reading, I’m not just doing this for you, but also for me because even the ones who you think they are good to go need a little hug at the end of the day.

When the night has fallen
When fear is coming
Still you’re calling me
When faith is lost and
My hope exhausted
You will be my strength

When my mind says
I’m not good enough
God you’re enough for me
I’ve decided I’m not giving up
You won’t give up on me
You won’t give up on me

As hard as it is, you’ve got to be strong. You’ve got to see the potential. You’ve got to hear the humor. You’ve got to go out of your way for someone else. You’ve got to find a reason to smile. When you get down in the dumps, you tend to want to hide from the world right? NO! You need to step up to home plate and say what’s up. In order to get the source of happiness, you need to feed off of it, not say, “I’m not in the mood.” Get in the mood, because all your doing is dragging everybody else down as well.

Look I get it, I’m a girl full of hormones, I get sad when I see a dog chained up to a fence. We get so attached to people in this world that when they leave or hurt us, it seems like everything is falling apart. We’re here to lift others up and inform them that only their beliefs about God are going to matter in the long run, because the only person who actually is worth something, is waiting on us in Heaven. My point is, don’t get swallowed up in grief, but instead, hope and joy. Please don’t forget about God when distractions enter, those are the times you need Him most and they bring you closer to Him. He is the best listener I’ve ranted to by far, and not just because He can’t physically say to my face how crazy I am 🙂

If you don’t have anybody to be strong for, you have God. Honor Him by not letting the slightest thing dim your light because He never has and never will give up on you. There’s a time and place to be upset and let it all out but there should always be more time spent laughing and loving. How are you doing with that? It’s okay if the answer is not so great, you’ll get there. Just start walking by faith, not sight.
I dare you to go do something nice for a friend this week, make them feel loved!!
