Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Being Enough

Hey ya’ll it’s Lizzie with Women In The Word and today our topic is Being Enough. She cried “I’m sorry I’m not good enough. I’m sorry I’m not perfect. I’m sorry I’m not smart enough, or thin enough. And I’m also sorry I’m not always happy. Do you think he would have loved me more if I were affectionate? If I hadn’t asked him to help around the house? If I had been more social like his friend’s wives?”
I recently had the opportunity to sit down with a dear friend. She was totally broken. She confessed that she had struggled with unworthiness most of her life. All she longed for was to be loved and accepted. My heart breaks when I think of her. I honestly can’t imagine living with her pain every single day. I wanted to shake her one more time and scream “you are enough!”
Then something great happened. We talked about Jesus and how much He loves her. And the good news is He loves everything about her. All of her unravelling, pain, and heartache. Girls if you are feeling any of these emotions remember, you are more than enough. Right now you can leave those negative thoughts of defeat and doubt, just by taking a few steps towards the light of God’s truth and what He has to say about you. God said you are chosen, redeemed, loved, beautiful, able, and enough. God wants all of you. What’s holding you back from being the woman He created you to be?
1 Peter 2:9 says ” You are a chosen woman, a royal queen, a holy daughter of the king, God’s special possession that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light.” You are enough.
